KEYBIND INSTRUCTIONSKeybinds are a nice way to personalize your game and simplify some actions, like saying “Nice Shot!”.
One way to do a keybind is to:
Go to your User.ini file located in the system folder of UT and open it. The file can be opened by right clicking it and selecting “open” which will open the file in Notepad and allow editing.
A good idea would be to back up your user.ini file before you make any changes or even look at it in a funny manner.
Scroll down below the alias stuff and you will find a listing for every key on your keyboard. Pick a blank one (blank meaning it only has ‘M=’).
To keybind something you want to say rather than having to hit the “T” key and typing it out, you can set a line in the User.ini file to be: M=say Hello (leave a space after the word “say”)
The key here is M=say *****. Whatever you type after “say” will pop up in the chat
window when you hit the M key on your keyboard.
